Install guide // 5 steps

Install in 5 Steps

Download the XAPK. Tap the gold button above and let the full 213.9 MB finish. A short file is the number one cause of install failures.
Get an XAPK installer. Stock Android cannot open .xapk bundles, so install any well-reviewed free XAPK installer app first.
Open the file in the installer. Select the downloaded XAPK from your Downloads folder and tap Install.
Allow unknown apps. Enable the permission for the installer only when Android asks, then confirm the install prompt.
Launch your first reign. Open 9 Kings, sign in for cloud saves, and the free trial begins immediately.

Stuck? // Troubleshooting

If the Install Fights Back

Fix 1

App not installed

Remove any older or modified copy of the game first, then install fresh. Signature conflicts block installs silently.

Fix 2

Parse error

The bundle did not finish downloading. Re-download and confirm the full 213.9 MB size first.

Fix 3

Installer cannot see the file

Move the XAPK to the main Downloads folder, not a subfolder, then rescan in the installer.

Fix 4

Play Protect warning

Tap More details, then Install anyway. The file is scanned on our bench before the button goes live.

About this file

This XAPK carries the latest tested build of 9 Kings, the roguelike kingdom builder from Playdigious. The bundle format exists because the game ships large Unity assets alongside the app; an installer app unpacks all three parts in one step, so you never handle the splits yourself.

Trial and full unlock

The download costs nothing and the game opens with a free trial generous enough to learn several kings properly. The full unlock, every king, Quest Mode, and multiplayer, is a single in-app purchase through the Play billing system. One purchase follows your account to every device, including PC.

Before you tap download

Check two things: at least 500 MB of free space for the unpacked install, and a stable connection, because a paused 214 MB download that resumes badly is how parse errors are born. Everything else is handled by the installer app.

Download FAQs

Is the 9 Kings APK free?

Yes. The file is free and the game starts with a free trial. The full unlock is a one-time in-app purchase.

How big is the download?

213.9 MB. It is an XAPK bundle containing the base app, the Unity asset pack, and the ARM64 configuration.

Is this the latest version?

This page always serves the latest build that has cleared our real-device testing. Older builds are retired on purpose.

Do I need an XAPK installer?

Yes. Stock Android cannot open .xapk files directly, so a free installer app unpacks the bundle for you in one step.

Will I lose progress when updating?

No. Install the new XAPK over the existing app without uninstalling, and saves, unlocks, and settings carry over.
